Detailed realistic hand drawn roses in bright sunshine in a large bold scale. An elegant, timeless design that reminds me of English Summers and country gardens. This rose variety is a scented bloom with large full flowers called 'Compassion' which is growing in my little garden in my happy little forever home.
I grew one of these in my garden 25 years ago, but sadly had to give up up my home. I missed the garden, and this particular plant, so much. So at long last I have a garden of my own again, and my heart leapt when I saw this beauty waiting for me at the garden centre! These roses will always have a place in my heart.
Colours 'Jet' and ‘Petal’ will co-ordinate beautifully with this, and I’ve made a selection including stripes which really strike a pose. All elements are hand drawn by me and I create the pattern artwork too, so if you'd like a colour or scale edit, just ask!
